On change of ownership, is the COC transferable to the new user or owner?
On change of ownership of a gas system the certificate of conformity shall be transferred to the new owner (industrial) except for domestic or commercial entities servicing the public where a Certificate of Conformity as issued by the Gas Practitioner shall be issued on the change of user or ownership. The seller is responsible for obtaining a Certificate of Conformity where relevant (PER No.R734, Regulation 17 (5).
What is a Pressure Test Certificate?
Pressure Test Certificate must be issued after the installation of a gas system. The installation will be pressure tested in accordance with the specification/standard. Certificate will be issued after no gas leaks have been detected.
